Job Description

A CCTV installer and electrical technician sets up, wires, and repairs security surveillance and electrical systems for homes and businesses. Installation and Setup: Mount and aim cameras, run conduit pipes, and install power supplies, DVRs, or NVR recording units.Wiring and Cabling: Lay, pull, and terminate low-voltage cables like coaxial, Cat5/Cat6, or fiber optics.System Configuration: Configure IP addresses, calibrate camera views, and link software to network devices.Troubleshooting and Repair: Test live feeds, diagnose connectivity or power failures, and replace broken parts.Electrical Knowledge: Understanding of basic electrical principles, voltage, and circuit connections.Technical Skills: Ability to read blueprints, floor plans, and use hand tools safely.IT Literacy: Basic knowledge of IP networking and device configuration.Physical Fitness: Ability to climb ladders and lift heavy equipment.
