Job Description

A ceiling and partition installer builds, repairs, and installs indoor frameworks, false ceilings, and dividing walls using metal or wood studs, drywall, and acoustic tiles. Read Blueprints: Study architectural plans and technical drawings to mark exact layouts for walls and ceilings.Build Frameworks: Measure, cut, and secure aluminum or steel tracks, studs, and hangers into floors, walls, and structural ceilings.Install Panels and Tiles: Fit gypsum boards, plasterboard, or acoustic ceiling tiles onto the metal or wooden framework.Add Insulation: Place soundproofing or thermal insulation batts inside partition walls and ceiling spaces.Finish Surfaces: Tape, mud, sand, and paint joints or screw holes to create a smooth surface.
