Job Description

A fire sprinkler technician or installer installs, tests, maintains, and repairs fire suppression systems in buildings to keep them safe. Read blueprints and building plans to plan where pipes and sprinkler heads go.Install pipes, valves, and fittings using hand tools and power tools.Test systems for water pressure and leaks to make sure they work correctly.Inspect and repair older systems to fix broken parts or meet new safety rules.
