Job Description
A tire technician installs, repairs, inspects, and balances tires on passenger vehicles, trucks, or heavy equipment.Installation & Removal: Mount and dismount new or used tires using specialized shop machinery.Maintenance & Repair: Patch punctures, plug leaks, and replace faulty valve stems.Balancing & Alignment: Perform wheel balancing and check basic alignments to ensure safe handling.Inspections: Check tread depth, wear patterns, and overall tire health.Customer Service: Explain issues and recommend proper maintenance or replacements to clients.Shop Safety: Keep the work area clean and follow safety protocols, including wearing protective gear.
