A nursing supervisor manages daily clinical operations, guides nursing staff, and ensures high standards of patient care within a healthcare facility.Assigns daily duties, plans work schedules, and balances workloads.Mentors, trains, and evaluates the performance of nurses and clinical support staff.Participates in hiring, onboarding, and disciplinary reviews.Oversees patient care delivery to meet strict safety and health protocols.Acts as a liaison between patients, families, and physicians.Resolves escalated patient complaints and addresses clinical emergencies.Manages shift staffing levels to ensure continuous unit coverage.Enforces and updates hospital or clinic policies and regulatory standards.Provides input on departmental budgets, resource allocation, and medical records.
