A dermatologist is a specialized medical doctor responsible for diagnosing, treating, and preventing conditions affecting the skin, hair, nails, and mucous membranes
Patient Care & Diagnosis: Evaluate patient symptoms, review medical histories, and perform physical examinations to diagnose acute or chronic skin diseases, infections, and skin cancers
Collaboration & Referrals: Coordinate with other healthcare professionals or refer patients to specialized medical fields when conditions require advanced cross-disciplinary management
