Job Description

A tea maker prepares and serves different types of tea and hot beverages while keeping the work area clean and managing supplies.• Beverage Preparation: Brew regular milk tea, black tea, green tea, masala chai, lemon tea, and specialty infusions following exact recipes and temperatures.
• Quality Control: Check the taste, aroma, color, and temperature of every cup before serving.
• Hygiene and Cleanliness: Wash utensils, equipment, and counters to maintain strict health and safety standards.
• Inventory Management: Track stocks of tea leaves, milk, sugar, and spices, and report shortages.
• Customer Service: Greet guests, take orders politely, and provide recommendations on tea choices.• Experience: Usually 0 to 2 years of experience working in a cafe, tea stall, hotel, or restaurant.
• Education: Often open to all education levels or basic schooling (10th/12th pass).
• Skills: Knowledge of brewing techniques, food safety, hygiene protocols, and good time management.
