Job Description

A Restaurant Service cum Cash Handling role combines front-of-house customer service (taking orders, serving food, or assisting guests) with cash register and billing operations.Welcome Guests: Greet customers warmly, seat them or guide them through the counter menu, and answer questions about food and beverages.Order Management: Take food and drink orders accurately, enter them into the Point of Sale (POS) system, and relay instructions clearly to the kitchen.Serving & Table Maintenance: Serve orders promptly, check on guest satisfaction during meals, and clear or reset tables as needed.Billing & Payments: Generate itemized bills and accept cash, credit/debit cards, UPI, and mobile wallet payments. Provide exact change and printed receipts.Register Reconciliation: Count and balance the cash drawer at the start and end of every shift. Match digital and cash transaction logs against total sales.
