Job Description

A welder is a skilled trades professional responsible for assembling, fabricating, and repairing metal structures and components. They use specialized equipment to apply high heat, melting and fusing materials like steel, aluminum, and brass to form a permanent bond.Read and interpret technical drawings, sketches, and welding symbols to plan layouts. Measure, cut, grind, and clean metal pieces using plasma cutters, torches, or saws. Fuse components together in multiple positions, including flat, vertical, horizontal, and overhead alignments.
