Job Description

A packing worker (packer) inspects, weighs, labels, seals, and packages finished goods into boxes or onto pallets for safe storage and transport.• Inspect Products: Check items for damage, defects, or missing pieces before packaging.
• Pack Goods: Select appropriate containers and protective materials like bubble wrap, foam, or tape.
• Weigh and Label: Weigh packages, attach accurate shipping or product labels, and verify order counts.
• Record Data: Log inventory, shipment tracking details, and paperwork into the system or logs.
• Operate Equipment: Use hand tools, tape dispensers, weighing scales, or manual pallet jacks.
• Maintain Safety: Keep the workstation clean and follow facility safety and compliance rules.
