A CCTV (Closed-Circuit Television) installer sets up, maintains, and repairs video security cameras, recording devices, and monitoring networks.Site Survey & Planning: Visit customer sites, assess security needs, and plan camera placement.Installation & Setup: Mount cameras, run coaxial or network cables (Cat5/Cat6, fiber), and install conduit pipes or support hangers.System Configuration: Set up Digital Video Recorders (DVRs) or Network Video Recorders (NVRs), assign IP addresses, and connect systems to local networks or mobile apps.Testing & Calibration: Adjust camera angles, focus, and lighting to ensure clear video coverage.Troubleshooting & Repairs: Diagnose hardware/software faults, replace broken cameras or cables, and fix connectivity issues.Maintenance: Regularly inspect and clean equipment to keep systems working smoothly.
