A CCTV Technician installs, maintains, and repairs video surveillance and security systems to ensure proper property protection.Installation: Mount and wire analog or IP security cameras, digital video recorders (DVR), network video recorders (NVR), and PoE switches.Cabling: Run low-voltage cables, terminate wires, and set up structural cabling like CAT5e/CAT6.Configuration: Program camera angles, set up remote viewing software, and configure recording storage.Maintenance: Perform routine tests, clean camera lenses, and update firmware.Troubleshooting: Diagnose and fix signal drops, power failures, or broken hardware.
