A computer operator maintains, monitors, and controls computer hardware, networks, and data systems to ensure smooth daily business operations.System Monitoring: Watch computer consoles, servers, and networks for error messages, performance drops, or disruptions.Data Management & Backups: Run scheduled batch processing jobs, perform regular data backups, and keep secure backup logs.Troubleshooting: Diagnose and fix basic hardware, software, and peripheral issues (like printers and storage units).Maintenance: Install basic software updates, perform routine preventive maintenance on equipment, and track inventory for computer parts.
