A computer operator oversees, monitors, and maintains computer hardware, networks, and data processing systems to ensure daily operations run smoothly.Watch dashboards, logs, and alerts to detect system errors, hardware failures, or network issues early.Run, schedule, and monitor automated or manual batch processing jobs and nightly updates. Perform regular data backups, verify recovery procedures, and secure digital records. Fix basic hardware, printer, software, or network malfunctions, and escalate major issues to IT specialists.
