Job Description

The general labourer assists maintenance teams, housekeeping staff, and clinical departments with heavy lifting, transport, and basic upkeep throughout the hospital.Material and Supply Transport: Move heavy boxes, medical supplies, linen carts, and equipment between departments, storage rooms, and loading docks.Facility and Area Maintenance: Assist with sweeping, clearing waste, moving furniture, and performing basic property or room repairs.Loading and Unloading: Receive, unload, and organize incoming shipments, food deliveries, or construction/renovation materials.Patient Transport Support: Help transport non-critical patients (in wheelchairs or on stretchers) or deliver medical files and specimens when requested.
