A godown incharge manages daily operations, inventory accuracy, and staff supervision at a storage facility or warehouse.Inventory Control: Track incoming and outgoing stock, maintain physical logs, and reconcile records with digital software or ERP systems.Stock Audits: Conduct regular physical counts to find and fix discrepancies or missing items.Goods Handling: Oversee the safe loading, unloading, sorting, and organized storage of products.Staff Supervision: Assign daily tasks, guide workers and laborers, and monitor performance on the floor.Safety & Cleanliness: Enforce safety rules and maintain a clean, hazard-free storage area.Dispatch Coordination: Schedule shipments and coordinate with transport drivers for timely deliveries.
