Job Description
Injection molding is a manufacturing process used to make parts by injecting melted material into a hollow metal mold. Raw plastic pellets go into a funnel-shaped container called a hopper.: The pellets drop into a heated barrel where a turning screw melts and mixes the material into liquid. The machine pushes the hot liquid under high pressure through a nozzle and into the mold cavity.
