Laborer

Job Description

A laborer (or general laborer) performs manual, physical tasks to support operations on construction sites, in warehouses, factories, or landscaping projects. Clear debris, remove hazardous materials, and set up temporary structures or safety barriers.Load, unload, and transport building materials, tools, and heavy equipment using wheelbarrows, carts, or dollies.Support carpenters, electricians, plumbers, or masons by holding materials, fetching tools, and clearing work paths.Dig pits, trenches, and foundations, and backfill or level earth as directed. Operate basic hand tools, power tools, and light machinery (such as drills, saws, or jackhammers) safely.
