A makeup artist applies cosmetics and prosthetics to enhance or alter a person’s appearance for film, television, live performances, or special events.Consulting: Discuss looks with clients, actors, or directors to match specific styles and settings.Application: Apply foundation, eye makeup, lipstick, and body cosmetics using professional tools.Special Effects: Design and attach FX prosthetics or stage makeup for injuries, aging, or fantasy characters.Collaboration: Work alongside costume designers, hairstylists, and lighting crews to keep the appearance consistent.Maintenance: Clean tools, sanitize workstations, and track product inventory safely.
