Job Description
A metal worker cuts, shapes, welds, and assembles metal pieces to build or repair structures, products, and equipment. Read Blueprints: Study technical drawings, schematics, and project plans to understand specifications.Cut and Shape: Use shears, torches, saws, and presses to cut raw metal to correct sizes.Weld and Join: Use MIG, TIG, or arc welding techniques to join metal parts securely.Install and Assemble: Fit and fasten assemblies on-site or in a factory using bolts, rivets, or welds.
