Job Description

A packer prepares products for safe shipping and storage by inspecting items, placing them in correct containers, and sealing and labeling packages accurately. Order Processing: Read order slips or use handheld scanners to select the correct items from inventory.Quality Control: Inspect goods for damage, defects, or missing parts before packing.Packaging: Choose appropriate boxes, wrapping, and padding materials to prevent breakage during transit.Labeling: Seal packages securely and apply accurate shipping labels, barcodes, and destination details.Record Keeping: Weigh completed boxes and log item counts and shipment data into the system.
