Job Description

A plaster worker (or plasterer) applies wet or dry layers of plaster, cement, or stucco to interior and exterior walls and ceilings to create smooth, durable, and protective surfaces. Surface Preparation: Clean walls, remove old materials, and attach wire mesh or wooden battens to ensure the base is ready.Material Mixing: Mix plaster, mortar, or cement with water in correct ratios to achieve the right consistency.Application: Apply multiple coats of plaster or stucco using hand tools like trowels, hawks, and floats, or spray equipment.Smoothing and Finishing: Level and smooth surfaces to a uniform thickness, plumb corners, and create decorative textures if required.
