Job Description

A Refrigeration Technician (or HVACR technician) installs, maintains, and repairs commercial, industrial, or residential cooling and refrigeration systems. Set up new refrigeration units, freezers, ice machines, and climate control systems following blueprints and technical manuals. Perform routine preventive checks, clean coils and filters, and inspect systems to stop breakdowns.Diagnose electrical or mechanical failures using multimeters, pressure gauges, and leak detectors. Replace broken parts like compressors, motors, and seals, and recharge refrigerants. Follow local environmental and safety rules (such as EPA guidelines) when handling refrigerants and disposing of hazardous materials
