Job Description
A scissor lift operator safely maneuvers mobile elevating work platforms to lift personnel, tools, and materials vertically for construction, warehouse, maintenance, and industrial tasks.Equipment Operation: Safely drive, position, and operate electric, diesel, or propane scissor lifts to required heights.Pre-Operation Inspections: Conduct thorough daily or pre-shift checks on mechanical components, fluid levels, emergency controls, tires, and safety devices.Site Safety & Risk Assessment: Position lifts on firm, level, stable ground, set up work zone warnings (cones, tape, signs), and monitor for overhead or environmental hazards like power lines or wind speeds.
