A waiter provides friendly customer service, takes accurate food and drink orders, and serves meals promptly to ensure a pleasant dining experience.Greeting and Seating: Welcome guests warmly, hand out menus, and guide patrons to their tables.Taking Orders: Record food and beverage choices accurately, using a notepad, POS software, or memory, and pass details to the kitchen.Serving Orders: Deliver food and drinks from the kitchen or bar in a timely manner while checking presentation.Customer Care: Answer menu questions, offer recommendations, handle special dietary requests, and check on guest satisfaction during the meal.Billing and Payments: Present bills, process cash or credit card payments, and return correct change.Maintenance: Clean and reset tables, remove used dishes, and maintain a tidy service area.
